ROOMRUSH · THE DETAILS
Terms of Use
Last updated 23 September 2026
These terms cover your use of RoomRush. By hosting or joining a party you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.
What RoomRush is
RoomRush is a browser-based party game. One person hosts on a shared screen, everyone else joins from their own phone with a room code. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Beta status
RoomRush is in an open beta and is currently free to host. Features can change, games can be added or withdrawn, and parties can be interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. If paid plans are introduced, prices and terms will be shown before you are ever charged.
Who may use it
You must be 13 or older to use RoomRush. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with a parent or guardian's permission. A host is responsible for the party they run, including who they invite and what is shown on their screen.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Use RoomRush to harass, bully, threaten, defame or single out anyone.
- Enter names or written answers that are hateful, explicit, or that expose someone's private information.
- Attempt to join a room you were not invited to, or to guess room codes.
- Probe, overload, scrape or attack the service or the people using it.
- Reverse engineer, resell or rebrand the service.
Guests type their own display names and answers. Those are shown to the rest of the room as written, and we do not review them in advance. A host can end a party at any time, and we may suspend access for anyone abusing the service.
Your content
The names, answers and reactions you type stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to show them to the other people in your party and to operate the service. Party data is short-lived and is deleted automatically — see the Privacy Policy.
Availability and liability
RoomRush is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost parties, lost data or lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Because the service is currently free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is normally nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continuing to use RoomRush after a change means you accept the updated terms.
