THE RULES OF THE ROOM

How to play

Each player gets one turn on the same course, with identical obstacle timing. Sing higher to climb, lower to descend, and hold a note to hold height. Silence glides down. Dodge closing jaws, spinning sails and swinging ducks; bonks cost time. Collect a shield, tiny wings or a rocket. Clear the final wall within 75 seconds after the countdown. Fastest singing finish wins; exact ties share the win. Touch practice is unranked.

On the big screen

Gather one to six phones. Open flight school and call up the first singer. Once their calibration is ready, start their turn. Keep the room quiet and the host tab visible. After each flight, choose Next singer. If the singer disconnects, reconnect and enable controls before resuming. Skip an absent singer, then rematch or return to the lobby after results.

A painted course flyover, one named bird at a time, high and low note guidance, moving obstacles, automatic powers, a turn queue and a shared results board.

In your hands

When your name is called, enable your microphone. Stay quiet, hum a comfortable low note, then a higher note. Your own vocal range sets the controls; loudness does not make the bird climb. Use a relaxed hum or ahh, with no lyrics or shouting needed. Nearby voices and music can affect pitch detection. Audio stays on your phone and the microphone stops between turns. If unavailable, try clearly labelled unranked touch practice.
